SCENIC JEEP RUN  -  RAFFLES  -  FOOD  -  VENDORS -  FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

The ride is accessible for ALL Jeeps! It's on pavement & hard packed logging roads with maybe a couple potholes . In the event of rain, there may 
be some small pockets of mud. But every Jeeper will feel comfortable on this ride.

Come join the Nassau County Sheriff's Office for an approx. 50 mile escorted Jeep ride, both on and off road through wooded logging trails on private Rayonier property, including along the scenic bluffs of the St. Mary's River.

The Leeperz Jeeperz ride will start at the Northeast Florida Fairgrounds in Callahan and will ride for about an hour and and end on a beautiful bluff on the river with amazing views, where lunch will be available for purchase from food trucks, or you can bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy. There is a small screened outbuilding that will have supplemental tables & chairs, but bring your own lawn chair just in case you choose to sit outside, enjoy the weather and have lunch with a view! Restrooms will be available. A 50/50 raffle and raffles for other great prizes will be held during lunch.

$40 General Admission- includes entry for one Jeep (driver and all seat-belted passengers), 2 unique dog tags, NCSO goody bag and all post-ride events. A event t-shirt is also included in the general admission if you pre-register through Eventbrite before March 18 at 5 p.m. (You must indicate your shirt size with your Eventbrite purchase in order to receive your shirt size due to manufacturing lead time. Additional t-shirts can be ordered at the time of registration. )

Feel free to join the ride on event day and pay by cash or credit card, but event day General Admission sales will not include a t-shirt and extra t-shirt supplies will be limited.

 

** Be sure to arrive at the event with a full tank of gas and use the restrooms prior to the trail ride- the trail route will take approximately 2.5 hours with no access en-route to gas or restrooms. But this scenic ride will have some amazing views that we will only be able to see thanks to Rayonier giving us this special permission. Insurance purposes require waivers signed & notarized by each participating Jeep because we are traveling on these private lands. Waivers will be available on registration day.

Some other Leeperz FAQ'S:
How do we get to the Fairgrounds?  The Northeast Florida Fairground is located at 543378 US-1 in Callahan, FL. There are several ways to get to the Fairgrounds which are located approx 2.2 miles north of the center of the Town of Callahan (the intersection of State Road 200 & US1).
Do we have to pre-register or can we pay at the event?  Yes you can, but It is strongly recommended everyone pre-register in order to help the ride depart at the scheduled time by expediting the check-in process.  Also, t-shirts are not included in the General Admission on event day.
I
s it family friendly?  Yes! And children 12 and under ride free. We welcome as many additional family members and passengers as can be safely seat-belted inside your Jeep.
Is it rain or shine?  The event will begin with the Jeeps departing the Florida Fairgrounds at 10:00  a.m. rain or shine, unless an unusual weather event makes the ride to dangerous to proceed. If it does rain, the off-pavement portion of the ride that occurs on a logging road trail will be muddy. Plan accordingly. 
Are pets allowed at the Fairgrounds?  Yes, however all pets must be on a leash at all times.
Will restrooms be available? Yes, full restrooms will be available at both the beginning and the end of the ride.

Will we be able to purchase beer/alcohol at the Fairgrounds or during lunch?  No. As this event is affiliated with the Nassau County Sheriff's Office, alcohol is NOT permitted on the premises and may not be consumed before, during or after the ride, until the conclusion of the event.
