ADOPT-A-ROADWAY

Eight Flags Jeep Club is committed to removing litter on our mile-long stretch of Amelia Island Parkway four times a year in cooperation with Keep Nassau Beautiful. With the population of Nassau County growing & more traffic, that unfortunately means more trash along the roadways. So Eight Flags Jeep Club is doing it's part to keep our community clean & great!
We clean the portion of the Parkway between the roundabout at 14th & Buccaneer Trail. Members meet at approx. the halfway point. We provide safety vests, litter pickers & garbage bags. Members should wear sturdy shoes & bring work gloves. And don't forget your safety yellow "Clean Up Crew" t-shirt! If you don't have one, we'll have one available for you.
Breakfast is available after the clean-up for all Jeep Club volunteers. And be sure to keep an eye out for the hidden marked golf balls (and sometimes ducks) somewhere along the clean-up area worth $20 cash each!
